ENGLAND Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari entered Portsmouth folklore after his late penalty dumped Manchester United out of the English FA Cup. Muntari thumped in a penalty past stand-in keeper Rio Ferdinand with only 12 minutes remaining, sending Pompey through to the semi-finals for the first time in 16 years. Ferdinand was forced to take the goalkeepers shirt and gloves after Tomasz Kuszczak was sent off for the foul that led to the penalty. Kuszczak had come on to replace the injured Edwin van der Saar. But it was Nigerian striker Kayode Odejayi, who plays in the second tier in English football who stole the headlines. Odejayi's header knocked holders Chelsea out of the FA Cup and gave Barnsley a shock place in the semi-finals where they will play fellow Championship side Cardiff. Portsmouth will take on another Championship side West Bromwich Albion. SPAIN DR Congo striker Mohammed Tchite was on target as Racing Santander beat Real Betis 3-0. Tchite wrapped up the victory - with only two minutes remaining - to help the home side to climb to fifth on 44 points. Mali midfielder Seydou Keita helped Sevilla to recover from their midweek Champions League exit with a goal that saw them beat bottom club Levante 2-1. Sevilla had to come from behind after Ghana-born Mustapha Riga caught goalkeeper Andres Palop off his line from 35 metres. GERMANY Hansa Rostock's Nigerian striker Victor Agali grabbed the equaliser in their 1-1 draw away to Duisburg. FRANCE Lyon's Ivory Coast forward Abdul Kader Keita helped his side with a late strike that secured a 4-2 win over second-placed Bordeaux. The league leaders' victory in the top-of-the table clash moved them six points clear of their closest rivals. Nigerian defender Taye Taiwo scored as Olympique Marseille extended their winning streak at home with a 2-0 victory over St Etienne. The second-half goals kept fourth-placed Marseille in the hunt for a Champions League berth. Marseille are three points behind third-placed Nancy, who defeated Monaco 2-0 thanks to a goal by Morocco's Youssef Hadji. Meanwhile, Cameroon midfielder Achille Emana grabbed the consolation for Toulouse in their 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Sochaux. GREECE Angola striker Manucho scored his first goal for Panathinaikos as the league leaders beat Larissa 2-0 to keep clear at the top of the Super League. Manucho, who joined Panathinaikos on loan from Manchester United after the Africa Cup of Nations in January, opened his account when he converted a second-half cross with a left-foot volley.
