After two successful seasons, Fusion, Ghana’s popular entertainment programme on TV3 which shows every Wednesday at 8:30 pm is back with a bang. The next thirteen (13) weeks would be thrilling, taking the showbiz industry in Ghana to another level with regular presenter, Abeiku Santana. The third edition of Fusion features 30 minutes of quality arts, culture and entertainment, including the top ten countdowns. The programme is in three main segments: Top l0 Hit Songs Chart, celebrity interview and Town Link segment which takes a new dimension with Adwoa, who finds out public views on show business, politics and social issues among others. In the celebrity segment, Abeiku has the opportunity to interview top personalities from all walks of life, including musicians, bankers, journalists and footballers. Unlike other programmes, Abeiku backs his interviews with actual video footages which tell the stories of the interviewees in detail. Thus when a personality appears on the programme, viewers have the chance to see him working in the studio as well as watch him acting. According to Strategic Communications Limited, producers of Fusion, the programme has so far filled the gap for hiplife music and others on TV. The producers indicated also that there would be more live shows this Easter, and that there would be an Easter Street Carnival to be held at Obomeng-Kwahu on Easter Saturday. Viewers are also allowed to participate in the programme through texting, to predict the most popular song for a particular week. The highest texter wins a prize at the end of each week. To enjoy your Wednesday evenings in style, stay glued to your TV sets at 8:30pm and watch Fusion.
