With her enthusiasm, energy and dynamism on stage, trust the Ghanaian born Tamale bred, Ayisha Fuseini to break any musical barrier. And this is what she’ll be doing come this Saturday as all roads lead to the Ghana Telecom University (G.T.U) in Tesano, Accra at exactly 4pm. The auditorium of the G.T.U will be filled with a pop mood this Saturday as Ayisha unveils her new album ‘Hello’. This follows the recent positive remarks from her fans and those around her to do so. Her debut ‘Hello’ is an 11-track fusion of styles that capture the hearts of listeners and sends them into the musical world. Listening to the album, love seemed to be the underlying theme and throughout the album, she announces her arrival as a growing pop idol. The track that appears to be on the lips of everyone is ‘In My Dreams’. It’s a mid-tempo, smooth piece that leaves listeners in a relaxed mood. Other songs on the hit-to-be album include ‘M’akoma’, M’akoma mu toffee’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Hero’. ‘ What really amazed me was when I walked down the streets of Accra only to see kids miming ‘In My Dreams’. Everywhere you go, whether in bars, offices or bus stations, ‘In My Dreams’ is not left out in the playlist of songs. She is being groomed as a pop star and an idea of how well she is doing will be seen tomorrow when she appears on stage to perform songs from her repertoire. Backed and supported by music icons such as Ebo, 4×4 and the likes, the evening’s event interlaced with comedy promises to be one of a kind. The 11-track album, which was produced by Frankie Studios features guest artistes like Mr. Kwofie and Naa. Update your calendars, pda’s and mobile phones because March 22 is just this Saturday. See you there.
