Come Saturday August 25, all Ghanaian hiplife artistes will mount the stage at Stratford Rex in East London to perform at the biggest live Ghanaian event dubbed, “Hiplife Festival Extravaganza”.
The festival would witness live performances from ten of the hottest and talented artistes on the Ghanaian music scene.
Artistes to perform include Kwabena Kwabena, Nkasei, Praye, Wutah, Tic-Tac, Tinny, 4 × 4, Madfish, Nana Wusu among others.
The Ghanaian artistes would perform alongside UK-based artistes such as Kingseyez, Ntatia, Howls of Lords, Candyman, Sonny Achiba, Sonny Bali and Koko.
The female performers would include the fine female lyricist, Abrewa Nana with her Ragga-styled tunes as well as Lady Sledge.
The show would be hosted by Ghana’s No.1 TV presenter, Bola Ray and Nana Asamoah of Kasapa FM while the DJ selection boasts the best spinners in Ghanaian radio and club-land in the UK including DJ Alordia, who incidentally is one of the organisers of the event, alongside his ‘partners in crime’, Skoobi, Fiifi Pratt, Big L, Makosa, Exhale, Giles Bossman as well as various DJs from Ghanaian radio stations Hot FM, Kasapa FM, Rainbow Radio, Voice of Africa and GBC FM.
M.Cs for the night would be Warren Gizzle, Lyrical, Clarke Pentoa, Daddy Fingers, Adusei, Undercover and Godfather.
