ItiPack Group, in conjunction with the Newsporafrica Foundation in Milan, has built a sports training facility in Accra to support Ghanaian young Athletes aspiring to participate in the forthcoming Olympic Games. The founder and chairman of the Itipack Group, Mr. Bruno Benetti, in a release stated that: “Itipack group, in collaboration with Newsporafrica foundation, has supported in the building a sports training facility in Accra for athletes aspiring to participate in the Olympics and in other major sports competitions.” He added that the Itipack group and its subsidiary companies focus on advanced packing technologies serving corporations throughout the world. With this, he mentioned that Ghana’s portion of the facility would be over seen by the Diaspora African forum in Accra. He said, working in partnership with the Newsporafrica Foundation would be the first of several training facilities which they hope to replicate in different parts of Africa. The vice-President of Newsporefrica Foundation, Nadia Morabet, added that the partnership with Itipack typifies a new dawn for relations between Europe and Africa. Speaking on telephone from Milan, she revealed that Africa in the 21st century would be a world-class continent. saying, “… your vision is to use sports and art as the servant of ideals that promote peace and prosperity across Africa.”
