The Ghana Football Association (GFA) says stand-in coach of the Black Stars, Sellas Tetteh could take charge of the team for the four 2010 Nations/World Cup qualifiers next month. Tetteh was named to take interim charge of the team after Claude Le Roy terminated his contract this month. According to the FA, the time duration for a new coach to familiarize with the squad is too short and that could wreck Ghana's World Cup campaign. He took charge of his first game after a technical reshuffle to the national Under-20 team, losing 1-0 to Australia on Friday in Sydney. ''The two coaches; Sellas and Kwesi Appiah-will take charge until a substantive man replaces Claude Le Roy. We are still searching for one and when we find one, he will take over,'' GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi told Ghanasoccernet.com Tetteh has served under several expatriate coaches and was moved to the Satellites after the Black Stars won bronze at the recently held Nations Cup on home soil. He is expected to name his squad for the Stars opening campaign against Libya on 1 June at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
