TV3 will today telecast Tinny’s latest music video which was shot in December last year as part of an MTV-Shell project designed to uplift the image of the African music industry and also improve the quality of African music videos. The video would be premiered at 4.30pm. MTV cameras followed the Ghanaian hiplife sensation in December 2007 as he strove to complete the brand new music video for ‘Incomplete’, together with director Rachel Watanabe-Batton and a crew of Ghanaian video directors. Tinny is among five selected musicians on the African continent who have benefited from the MTV Making the Video with Shell initiative. This has enabled Tinny to have a brand new music video shot free-of-charge by international music video director Rachel Watanabe-Batton. Alex Okosi, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, MTV Networks Africa, said, “The video for ‘Incomplete’ is a great testament to the success of the result of the Making the Video with Shell initiative, which aims to uplift the African music industry by sharing best practice and forging collaborations between local music video talents and top international video directors”. Tinny said he believes MTV Base is the biggest platform for him to showcase his talent and create a credible image for himself.
