A) Biuret test 1. To 2 cm3 of egg albumen or milk in a test tube add 1 cm3 of sodium hydroxide solution. 2. Add 1% copper (II) sulphate slowly, drop by drop, to the mixture. Shake the tube after each drop has been added. What colour change do you observe on adding the copper (II) sulphate solution?
