The Ashanti Regional Youth working Committee welcome the verdict on the case brought before the Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) by the Progressive Nationalist Forum (PNF) against Hon. Muntaka Mubarak. The verdict by CHRAJ has come as a respite to the youth of Ashanti Region who are great admirers of Hon. Muntaka. Indeed we have gone through months of unwarranted humiliation and demonization. After months of meticulous investigations, a constitutionally mandated body has finally given to us a clean and honest judgment; undeniably the rule of law is effectively working. We implore all meaning Ghanaians to cuddle the outcome in our quest to consolidate our democracy. We enthusiastically appeal to His Excellency Prof. J.E.A Mills in the interest of the youth of Ashanti region to consider reappointing Hon. Muntaka Mubarak as a minister. This is because until the resiGhana News Agencytion of Hon. Muntaka in his attempt to clear his name was one of the best ministers and an icon to the youth. His reappointment would reaffirm the President’s appreciation to the commitment and dedication of the youth in Ashanti Region. We pledge our unflinching support to the Government and the National Democratic Congress as we wait patiently for a positive response to our humble appeal. Thank You. signed ………………………………..
