Mr Stephen Ashitey-Adjei, parliamentary aspirant in the 2008 Elections, has advised members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from making utterances that would divide the party.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Tema on Friday, Mr Ashitey-Adjei reminded members of the party that a house divided against itself could not stand, and so it would be in their own interest if they stopped the internal wrangling and start preparing towards 2012.
He advised politicians, who would want to contest in the 2012 Elections, to exercise restraint till their respective parties allowed them to file their nominations.
Mr Ashitey-Adjei urged the electorate not to vote for politicians with parochial interests, but to give their mandates to candidates, who would have the welfare and the interest of the nation at heart.
