Archbishop Duncan-Williams Congratulated

The National Chairman of Ghana National Scholarship Beneficiaries Association (GNASBA), Mr. Baffour Akwasi Oppong, has extended a message of congratulations to His Grace Archbishop Nicolas Duncan Williams, the Visioneer and General Overseer of Action Chapel International, on his new appointment as the 3rd Chairman of National Association of Christian and Charismatic Churches (BACCC) in Ghana. He said the appointment of His Grace Archbishop Nicolas Duncan Williams has come at the right time Ghana, East Africa and Africa needed intensive prayers to ensure a sustainable maintenance of peace for development. In an interview after he was sworn in with The Spectator, he said His Grace Archbishop Duncan Williams who is well-known in Christendom will surely lead this movement to new dimensions of supernatural empowerment to ensure prophetic discipline as well as the maintenance of pastoral orderliness during his term of office. Baffour Akwasi Oppong used the opportunity to urge the Archbishop to make the effort to bring all political parties and their leadership together to understand their role of ensuring national peace and development through the word of God for a better tomorrow. Baffour Akwasi Oppong also used the occasion to commend the founding members of the association led by Pastor Dag Heward-Mills, founder of Lighthouse Chapel International, the immediate past chairman, Rev. Steve Mensah also the General Overseer of Christian Evangelistic Ministry, for their hard work and tireless sacrifices made to bring together all the Charismatic churches countrywide. “Your fatherly love and obedience shown to the Archbishop Nicolas Duncan William is worthy of emulation. God bless you,” he said. Baffour Opopong also extended special congratulations to the Senior Bishop James Kwaku Saah, Senior Bishop of Action Chapel International and Bishop Joseph Nyarko-Antwi, the International Prayer Director of Action Chapel International, on receiving the highest awards of the Action Chapel International “The Pillar Award” for their loyalty, commitment and dedication.
