The Right Reverend Father Jacobson Dei, Vice President of the African Religious Union of Ghana, on Friday December 31st 2010, urged Christians to use the word of God as their weapon in life. He said for a Christian to succeed in his daily work, he must always walk with the word of God, which is Jesus Christ. Rev Father Dei was preaching at the 2010 watch night service at the Ngleshie Amanfrom St. Peters Catholic Church in Kasoa to usher in the New Year. “The word of God should be your weapon that should guide you and transform you to have a prosperous and a bright future. “Jesus Christ is the word, receive him into your life and you will never be the same,” he told the congregation. Rev Father Dei also urged the congregation to resolve to accept Jesus Christ as their saviour now and the years to come, in order to continue to enjoy prosperous life. “With the word of God in your hand you must persevere and not to give up,” Rev Father Dei said. The various groups in the Church clad in colourful attires prayed and danced to the tunes of praises to the glory of the Almighty God for granting them the mercy to crossover to another year.
