The Winneba Police in an early morning swoop on Saturday at an abandoned Boatyard near the beach arrested four persons and seized several wrappers of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp. A police spokesman who disclosed this to newsmen at Winneba said the names of the suspects were being withheld for security reasons. The spokesman said upon a tip-off, the police organised the operation during which the four were arrested while most of them jumped into the sea. He said when the place was searched several wrappers of the dried leave were found concealed in Milo tins and a big sack while some were also found on the suspects. According to him after police investigations the suspects would be put before court.
