I Forgive My Enemies - Mills Website
NDC leader and Presidential Candidate, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, has in his usual good-heated nature forgiven all those who are wishing him dead. Said to have died last week Friday, via a malicious posting on the internet, the NDC leader spoke on a number of networks moments after he was supposed to have died, thus exposing the evil and wickedness in the internet posting. Contained in the malicious posting, was the information that the learnred professor had died in a Bloomfontein hospital in South Africa as a result of a blood clot arising from a surgery he had had. Speaking first to Radio Gold, Professor Mills who said he was speaking from his hotel room and not from the graveyard, that he was alive and kicking and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him. “I am alive and doing well. I am in my hotel room surrounded by family and friends. And for the records, the voice you are hearing is not a recorded one, I am speaking to you live from South Africa,” a lively sounding Professor Mills said. According to Professor Mills, he has never had surgery in his life and so did not know where the wicked and evil story emanated from. Obviously a man with a big heart, the NDC leader and presidential candidate said that he forgives those behind such a wicked rumour and ask the Good Lord to forgive them for the things they are doing”. In a related matter, the NDC leader is said to have accepted in good faith the apology and retraction of Michael Nyawunu, the NDC MP for Lower Manya Krobo, for certain statements he made last week in Parliament about the supposed ill health of the leader of his party.Speaking to the Lens newspaper, Nii Lantey Vanderpuje, Director of Operations of the Mills campaign, said that his boss bears Michael Nyawunu no grudge. According to Nii Lantey, Professor Mills is not the kind of person who spends his time getting angry over things that have no substance and that Michael Nyawunu need not worry at all that the leader of the NDC will find ways of ‘dealing’ with him. I have spoken to Prof. several times since that unfortunate statement was made and he tells me that in spite of the fact that it was worrying to hear such statements from a key member of his party, he has since heard of the apology and retraction and so accepts it in good faith, Nii Lantey said. Prof believes that in life, we all make mistakes but what is important is that we realize our mistakes and correct them and so if the MP has realized that he made a mistake and has corrected it, that is where the matter ends”.
