Mr Sylvester Daddieh, NADMO Coordinator for the Jomoro District, on Friday said, the area has not recorded any refugees yet, in respect of the political crisis in Cote d’voire.
He said those trooping in are Ghanaians, who are coming back home, saying “we have not registered even one refugee in the Jomoro district”.
Mr Daddieh said reports from the border areas indicated that most of the people crossing the border were indigenes of the area.
He said his office is ready to respond to any influx of refugees in the district when the need arises adding that, “We have in stock relief items including canopies, poly mattresses among other things to meet any eventuality”.
Mr Daddieh said his outfit would also put up camps should the need arises.
