Prof. Mills Is Back From SA Website
The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, Prof. John Evans Atta Mill has returned home from his three weeks sojourn to South Africa, to a rapturous welcome by enthusiastic party supporters. Ecstatic party supporter clad in party regalia met with Prof. Mills at the Kotoka International Airport. Addressing the crowds, the flag bearer said he had come rejuvenated to lead the party’s campaign to win the December polls. He said Ghanaians needed to focus on the sickness of the nation, noting “out nation is sick and our nation is dying”. The Prof. advised members of the NDC to avoid all divisive tendencies and work towards salvaging the country. According to him, the hope of the people of Ghana lay in the hands of the party. Some of the teaming supporters who spoke to Joy News said they went to the airport to see for themselves the presidential candidate of the party. The NDC flag bearer said he had sight problems but had sought the appropriate medical advise and was fully fit. Prof. spent the last weeks in South Africa undergoing medical check ups and meeting with what his aides call business interests. There were many stories relating to his health with a malicious message posted on the opinion column of Ghana web claiming the Prof. had died.
