A speeding motorbike at Kpedze in the Ho Municipality last Saturday rammed another motorbike before hitting two pedestrians and killing one person. The deceased whose name the police gave only as Kasadjan died at the Ho Municipal Hospital on Sunday from internal bleeding. Inspector of Police Joy Afagbedzi in charge of Public Relations at the Volta Regional Police Headquarters, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the police had impounded both motor bikes, which were unregistered. He said Akpa Amenuveve on one of the motorbikes was branching off the major road at Weto Bank Agency at Kpedze on Saturday at 1500 hours and Tamador who allegedly was riding at top speed hit Amenuveve's bike and later knocked the pedestrians pushing them into a gutter. Inspector Afagbedzi said Kwadzovi Akome, one of pedestrians had been transferred from the Ho Municipal Hospital to the Volta Regional Hospital for treatment while Tamador the other pedestrian was responding to treatment at the Municipal Hospital.
