Stanbic Bank (SB), a member of the Standard Bank Group, on Friday opened its ninth branch at the Tema Heavy Industrial Area with an assurance to provide quality services to the public.
Cutting the tape to declare the bank open, Mr Emmanuel Asiedu-Mante, Board Chairman, described the bank as very special as it was the biggest with branches all over Africa and other parts of the world to assist customers expand in their businesses.
He assured that the bank would continue to improve upon its services and also open more branches throughout the next year.
Mr Alhassan Andani, Managing Director, explained that the branch was strategically cited within the industrial area in order to bring banking services closer to establishments such as Tema Oil Refinery, Volta Aluminium Company, Aluworks Limited, among others, to facilitate business transaction.
For now the bank has two branches in Tema with the first located within the harbour area.
Soon after the inauguration, some of the invited guests started opening accounts with the bank.
