Students Advised To Be Disciplined Website
Mr Moses Kwaku Addai, Headmaster of the Seventh-day Adventist Senior High School (SHS) in Kumasi, has underscored the need for students to always maintain high moral standards. He said they should avoid promiscuous lifestyles, vandalism, alcoholism and other social vices to enable them to realize their aspirations. Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi at the week-end, Mr Addai noted that students constituted the future workforce of the nation and they needed to work hard to contribute to the socio-economic advancement of the nation. Touching on the on-going Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges Athletic Competition, he urged students of the participating schools not to use the occasion to engage in any undisciplined acts that could mar the competition. Mr Addai observed that they should instead use the occasion to promote friendly relations among the schools. He appealed to the authorities of the participating schools to strive to monitor their students to ensure that they do not engage in violent and other indecent acts.
