The Very Reverend Moses K. Jackson, Superintendent Minister in-charge of the Adweso Circuit of the Methodist Church near Koforidua had called on Ghanaians to make the year 2011 a year of love.
He explained that love is a universal language that is understood by people of all tribes, nations and ages and inspires and motivate people to action.
This was contained in his New Year message to the congregation on the eve of 2011.
He said in challenging times as Ghana finds itself, it is only love that could hold the people together and work towards the development of the country.
Very Rev. Jackson said love enriches those who give as well as those who receive and it is the guarantee that hate, fear, falsehood enmity and bitterness are doomed.
He called on Ghanaians to draw more from the love of God who is the “central sun” from whom all draw their strength for a better and prosperous new year.
