New Edubiase United's striker Emmanuel Baffour maintains his lead on the scorers chart after finding his scoring boots against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their week nine clash of the 2011/2012 Glo Premier League last Wednesday.
Baffour’s winning goal against Asante Kotoko takes his tally to nine goals, two more than closest contender Louis Agyemang of Medeama SC, who scored a brace in his Club’s 2-3 loss against Berekum Arsenal.
Asante Kotoko forward Ahmed Toure has scored six goals, whilst strike-partner Nathaniel Asamoah, Berekum Chelsea's forward Emmanuel Clottey and Seidu Bancey of Ebusua Dwarfs trail with five goals apiece.
Berekum Chelsea captain Abdul Basit, Godfred Saka of Aduana Stars and Richard Addae of Bechem United have scored four goals each whilst Michael Helegbe of Liberty Professionals, Tema Youth captain Bernard Akuffo and Heart of Lions’ striking sensation Benjamin Padi are on three goals each.
Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that as many as 54 players have each scored a goal each in the nine-week old league.
